Frequently Asked Questions
The private dining room can accommodate up to 18 guests for a seated event at one table, 20 guests at two tables, or 26 guests at three tables.
If you have more than 26 we recommend the renting the full restaurant.
For 15 or less we can accomodate your party in a section of the restaurant.
For a truly outstanding event, Wellington Court is available for exclusive venue hire. Please inquire about the minimum spend requirement by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
There is no charge to use the space over and above our per person package prices. These packages are based on a 12-15 person minimum as stated on each menu. Please note that we do require a credit card number to secure the reservation. This credit card will not be billed unless a cancellation is made with less than 5 business days remaining before the event. The cancellation fee is $500 before tax.
A standard 18% pre–‐tax gratuity will be applied to all private event bookings.
There is a parking lot next to the building that holds 15 cars. There is a paid parking lot surrounding the restaurant. Street parking is plenty and free after 5pm.
Our staff will provide full cocktail service for your guests. We can also arrange a self serve bar as well as bottle service options.
All private dining events will need to select from pre-set menus. Cost of menus will be adjusted accordingly should you wish to customize a menu from the pre-set sample items. Menu items are based from our current selections and change throughout the year based on seasonal availability. Food items are subject to change and are based on current market prices. For a customized event we would be happy to sit down and discuss options with you. Please email email@example.com to set up an appointment.
The guaranteed number of guests attending the function is required 24 hours in advance of the function. Unless we are notified of a guest count revision the number originally contracted it will be assumed as the guarantee. You will be billed for the guaranteed number given or actual attendance; whichever is greater.
Absolutely. However, please keep in mind that although the room is private, it is not completely soundproof.
Background music (multiple formats) for your event is provided.
HDMI cables for both PC and MAC computers.
We print personalized group menus for each of your guests. We can also arrange your floral arrangements adding the charges to your final bill. If designated seating is required, please provide your own place cards.
Please note that Wellington Court + UP@Wellington is a non-smoking establishment in conformity with the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, S.O. 1994, c. 10 and its regulations. Accordingly, smoking is strictly prohibited at Wellington Court Restaurant + UP@Wellington and on the premises.
As bookings are made on a first-come, first-serve basis, it is recommended to book as early as possible to maximize on availability options. Christmas and holiday periods book up well in advance.
